Legacy Archive

This is the Honest Knives archive: a record of previous custom kitchen knife builds handmade by Rick at Honest Knives in Rocklin, CA, USA. These are real past builds, not a live inventory shelf, and most are already in the kitchens they were made for.

Use the archive to see the range of work that has come through the shop, from gyuto and santoku patterns to nakiri, slicers, and other small-batch kitchen knives. The details matter here. Blade length, steel choice, grind, edge geometry, handle material, balance, and finish all change how a knife behaves on the board.

If you are trying to decide whether Honest Knives fits the way you cook, this is the place to study the evidence. Look at the shapes, read the build notes, and pay attention to the practical choices behind each knife. Current availability happens through limited batches and the waitlist, where new work is offered as it is finished.

The Books Are Closed

Individual commissions are closed as I shift completely to batch production. Join the waitlist to receive access to the next drop.
